Made these as a treat for my vegan brother-in-law and they were a hit with everyone! So easy and delicious! Immediately after dipping and drizzling with chocolate, I put them in the freezer on a sheet to freeze since we had a 5-hour drive the next day and they traveled beautifully! Already planning to make these again.

How awesome to hear, Angela! Love how they travelled so well and that everyone enjoyed them 😊

When I made this delicious recipe I think I put to much condensed milk and heat to hot so it didn’t have a very circular shape but the taste was to good to resist 😊😊🥰

Delicious! And easy to make too. I didn't even bother with the chocolate, they were good enough as is :)

I have never been a fan of macaroons, but these were wonderful! My partner goes crazy for coconut and he had to hold back to stop himself eating the lot in one go. I made the condensed milk from your app and that made it so rich and flavorful! To compare, I also had a tin of condensed milk and we all agreed that with your recipe, it's much better, fluffier and tastier. Thank you for yet another brilliant recipe.

We're so thrilled that the coconut macaroons were enjoyed, Rajni! Especially with the homemade condensed milk 😊

Wonderful as an occasional treat.

Haha. I did something very wrong but I am sure what. Mine were flat and sort of shaped like fried eggs. They didn't taste awful awful but they were super chewy and stuck to our teeth.

Hey Stephanie, oh no, we're sorry to hear this! To avoid flat macaroons, it's important to use unsweetened shredded coconut, as too much sugar will cause them to spread.

In case you used cup measurements, it can help to ensure that the shredded coconut isn't too packed in the cup, but rather, gently spooned into the measuring cup and levelled. Or use a kitchen scale, which is a bit more accurate than cups (in baking, the measurements have to be more precise). We hope this helps for now and you enjoy the coconut macaroons more if you give them another try 😊

Oh my goodness, I'll bet I used the wrong coconut. That makes perfect sense. I knew i was missing something. Can't wait to try it again.

Incredible!! These were even better than I expected! I was inspired to make them after trying a mango coconut version on holiday and I was super happy when you posted this. The crunchy golden coconut on the outside and softer inside, paired with dark chocolate was perfection! I loved how simple they were to make and the fact that they weren't 'tooth-achingly' sweet like some!

Whoop whoop - these have been a favourite lately 🙌 so glad they were enjoyed, Charlotte!
