Ingredients
-
1 cup (150 g)frozen raspberries†
-
¼ cup (60 mL)water
-
2avocados
-
-
1½ Tbsp (22 mL)fresh lemon juice
Optional garnish
-
unsweetened coconut flakes
Directions
- Add the raspberries and water to a food processor and blend until a sorbet consistency is reached.
- Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Taste-test. If it's tart, add a bit more syrup. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- †We highly recommend using the frozen raspberries, and not substituting them for another frozen berry. The tartness of the raspberries really helps to cut through the slight earthy and bitterness from the avocadoes.
Storage
- Best to enjoy this recipe immediately.
- If any remains, try freezing and enjoy later as ice cream.

Lemon juice quantity is bit overwhelming. Will try with less quantity next time.
Delicious! I halved the recipe, and it came out wonderful. I just devoured it!
It's incredible how tasty this treat is for how little time it takes to make. Highly recommend!
This recipe makes me want to daaannncceeee!!!!!!! So yummy. Had a hard time getting the right consistency!
I’m wondering if I could substitute silken tofu for that avocado.
I had it for breakfast this morning because why not. I never knew a chocolate pudding could be so refreshing. Perfect for hot days!
Can you blitz this with a hand blender instead of a food processor?
Aweeeesommme
This is my comfort pudding. Frozen raspberries have always been one of my favorite things to eat, and so is chocolate, so this is a match made in heaven!
I’ve made this a few times whenever I have an avocado lying around, and even subbed in a frozen banana 😂 it still works!!
It was incredible.... not time for this mousse to be ! I tried also this recipe with other fruits, I had clementine and a pear... which worked wonderfully. So fast to make and even better than bought chocolate mousse. I am so glad it feels like being a restaurent chef at home ♡
Would have been nicer if I had a more powerful blender so the raspberry seeds get crushed. It would feel more moussy. But good flavours. I like this without the raspberries too.
Love love love this recipe
Wow this is yummier than the non-vegan alternatives!! I am so impressed how quickly this comes together and how delicious it tastes.
Oh my god! That was sooooo gooood!!!! 😍😍😍 Loved it and definitely will make it on repeat
Yummy 😋
Delicious !
My two year old and I have made this many times now- a hit! Each time the food processor comes out he yells, ‘chocolate pudding!!!’
Thanks for the recipe
Amazingly simple but enormously delicious! Win-win 🙏
Guuuuuys!!!! This is soooo amaziiiiiiing! Perfect for this weather (summer)! It’s SOOOO refreshing! So I 100% recommend ACTUALLY using frozen berries.
I’m not gonna lie, I used Strawberries instead of Raspberries even if Sadia strongly recommended raspberries but I didn’t have but it’s SOOOO GOOD!!!!!! My new favorite dessert for reaaal
Delicious and quick to make!
Delicious!
LOVE LOVE LOVE! If frozen rasberries aren't avalable for you, I used frozen cherries and it worked beautifully!
I've made this so many times but never commented. So ya. Just wanted to say this recipe is AH-MAZING and one of my go-to healthy dessert/snack recipes!
So so good! Perfect for summer❤️
Easy and delicious!
Super super yummy. Amazing recipie
All of the PUL chocolate desserts are incredible, but this one here is probably my favorite! Ingredients I would never have thought to add to something sweet tossed together in the right proportions suddenly become a delicious and beautiful and wholesome dessert. This raspberry-avocado-chocolate mix tastes so fresh and juicy and is still very creamy and chocolaty at the same time. Heaven for chocolate fans!
I love this recipe! Have made it many times, including for guests who enjoyed it and couldn't believe the ingredient list. I'm not a fan of avocado, but in this recipe I don't even notice it. So yum!
This has turned out so well.. I am so happy to offer this healthy treat to my toddler as an after school snack. This is the first time I made it and just like the granola this too will be a weekly staple in our house ! I love it’s healthy creamy consistency 😍
I wanted this to be good, but for some reason it had a weird aftertaste and wasn’t sweet enough… maybe our avocados weren’t the best but it was also too thick to blend properly so that may have been the problem. Oh well, it looks like others have had success with it so I’ll try again sometime. Thanks for the recipe! It gave us something fun to try tonight.
Sooo yummy😋 love this recipe, will definitely do this one again soon🥰
This turned out so well. I only had mixed frozen berries, but they worked just fine. Great way to use my up avocados.
Amazing recipe! This dessert tastes so great that I prepare this recipe almost every week!
