Directions
- Stovetop directions: place the frozen fruit in a saucepan on medium heat, stirring occasionally. The fruits will begin to thaw and release their juices. When heated through, remove from the heat.
- Microwave directions: in a microwave-safe bowl, heat the frozen fruit at 600W for 1 minute, then stir. Return to the microwave and continue at 30-second increments. If desired, mash with a fork so more juices seep out but some chunks remain. Enjoy!
Storage
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 day.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
Will heat decrease the amount of anthocyanins in blueberries?
I make stewed berries using this recipe all the time 🥰
Low calories stewed berry
My toddler loved these stewed berries on her breakfast. The color is soooo exotic.
If only i knew 😅 this was going to be such a hit my my toddler earlier Thanks Sadia ❤️
No point buying fresh berries at this time of year, but love having them in the freezer and adding this to pancakes/porridge/chia pudding/yoghurt to get in tasty berry goodness in winter.
So simple, so berry divine! This was exactly what I was looking for.
FYI, I tried looking for this recipe by looking for berries as an included ingredient and couldn’t find it. I ended up finding it when I googled stewed berries.
Love this simple and sweet berry mix on oatmeal. Adds a nice touch.
So delicious! 😋 I used cacao powder instead of cocoa. I feel supercharged this morning! 🌞😁
Love that this recipe doesn't add sugar or maple syrup to the fruit. It is perfect on its own! When it's cooled, I used this in my parfaits. so much better than anything store bought <3
Love this on granola
Easy, nutritious and delicious especially with a little wipped cream!
I love these the most with yogurt and granola. 😍
So simple to make and so versatile. Pairs really well with PUL's yogurt parfait (and with oatmeals of course) - just yum! :)
Love making this in the winter! Goes great with pancakes, smoothies, oatmeal, and all kinds of desserts. Also great when berries are too soft to enjoy as a snack.
Made this for me and my housemate today and it worked perfectly. I thought there was more to it but this is nice and simple :)
