Super delicious. 2 medium potatoes are plenty for 2 people.

Delicious 😋

If you are going to use our cuisine to make money, perhaps use your platform to support Lebanon as it deals with Israeli violence.

If you are going to have Levantine recipes, raise money for organizations supporting Lebanon and Palestine. It's only right.

Hey Nichole, we appreciate your reminder to support important causes and the inspiration behind recipes. This recipe is a celebration of Batata Harra and the rich culinary traditions of Lebanon. We deeply respect and appreciate the cultural inspiration behind it, as we hoped to describe in the “info” tab of the recipe.

We also strongly believe in contributing to humanitarian efforts. Every year, we donate to organizations such as the International Committee of the Red Cross (IRC) and Doctors Without Borders, which provide critical support in regions affected by conflict and crisis. My sister has worked on the ground with both organizations in Gaza, and we’ve witnessed firsthand the incredible work they do. Thank you for your comment and for shedding light on the importance of supporting those in need.

Hi team,

Can you give me an idea of how many grams 1 medium potato is? I only have smaller potatoes and how much dried parsley can i use instead of fresh coriander?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Oct. 18, 2024, 4:49 p.m.

Hey friend! Our medium-sized potatoes are around 130 grams each. For dried parsley, we haven't tested it out but imagine you could start with around 1 tablespoon (3 grams) for 4 servings. You can always add more to taste if you'd like 🤗

Incredible! I paired it with the warm pearl couscous salad and the flavor combination was unreal 🤤 Will definitely make it again!

Delicious. Went well with your Pan-fried Spinach and Tofu stuffed pie.

Kira - July 27, 2024, 1:17 a.m.

easy and delicious 😋 It would be great it recipes could be linked to each other. E.g. for this one - which dips & protein sources would fit best

PUL small logo PUL Team - July 28, 2024, 7:52 p.m.

Hey Kira, thanks for the request! In case it helps in the meantime, batata harra pairs nicely with falafels other patties such as lentil-based patties, our chickpea & eggplant fatteh, and lebanese tabbouleh. You can also pair it with grilled or steamed vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, or mushrooms and protein sides like spiced chickpeas or lentils.

As for dips, we made a dip that was ¼ cup tahini, 3 Tbsp water, ½ lemon juiced - it does have a very pronounced tahini taste though, so if tahini isn't your jam a simple sriracha mayo - or better yet chipotle mayo - would pair nicely with these potatoes 🙌✨

Linda Fe - June 19, 2024, 8:29 a.m.

Very delicious! I finished it nicely with some added lemon juice to bring some acidity since I didn't have tahini around to make the dip. A great side to have with a meal. ^^

Mmm sounds lovely, Linda - so glad it was enjoyed 🙌

Norma - June 14, 2024, 5:41 a.m.

I am Lebanese and that is the best batata harra I’ve had, brilliant!!!

Ligia Moisa - June 2, 2024, 2:56 p.m.

One of my favorites recipes ever!!

Col Bertrand - April 19, 2024, 6:34 p.m.

Easy and delicious! I mixed the spices and put in a jar to streamline the process. Love this recipe

Sara Best - April 16, 2024, 11:55 a.m.

Sooo good! My husband and I wanted to lick the plate! Lol! Definitely making this again!

PUL small logo PUL Team - April 16, 2024, 11:30 p.m.

Hehe love it when we can enjoy every last crumb of a recipe, Sara! Thank you ☺️

Yuliya N - April 16, 2024, 5:28 a.m.

Very tasty! Frying up the cilantro for a bit was a game changer! I subbed in Trader Joe’s Crunch Chili Onion instead of red pepper.

Noussaïba - April 8, 2024, 10:48 p.m.

It was delicious! I think that I have overcooked the potatoes, so it was a little bit dry. What kind of sauce do you recommend as an accompaniment ?

PUL small logo PUL Team - April 8, 2024, 11:58 p.m.

Hi Noussaïba, we made a dip that was ¼ cup tahini, 3 Tbsp water, ½ lemon juiced - it does have a very pronounced tahini taste though, so if tahini isn't your jam a simple sriracha mayo (or better yet chipotle mayo) would pair nicely with these potatoes :)

Noussaïba - April 10, 2024, 12:09 a.m.

Thank you for answering! I'll try next time I'll do the recipe. :)

Hanna - April 5, 2024, 10:13 a.m.

Very tasty *.* We had it as a side to an asparagus salad.

Andrea - April 4, 2024, 8:11 p.m.

These were so good! We paired them with a fresh salad and some grilled vegan sausages. A perfect weeknight Dinner! 💚

Krystle - April 3, 2024, 11:50 a.m.

These were great. I used them like croutons in soup as I'm coeliac and normal croutons are a no go. They were delicious.

PUL small logo PUL Team - April 3, 2024, 6:14 p.m.

So glad that the potatoes were enjoyed, Krystle! Thanks a bunch for sharing your experience with them 🤗

Erika - March 27, 2024, 3:42 p.m.

These were unreal! 🤩🤩🤩
So much better than any I've had from a restaurant, the flavours are so fresh when you're making you own. I added a heap more fresh coriander too, as I love the stuff, can highly recommend! 😋

PUL small logo PUL Team - March 28, 2024, 6:05 a.m.

Woop woop! So glad that you enjoyed the potatoes, Erika 😊

Flaminia - March 22, 2024, 8:18 p.m.

Great!

Col Bertrand - March 21, 2024, 5:09 p.m.

I can’t wait to try this! What are some good sides to have with these potatoes?

PUL small logo PUL Team - March 22, 2024, 2:17 a.m.

Hey Col! Batata Harra pairs nicely with falafels (https://www.pickuplimes.com/r…), other patties such as lentil-based patties (pickuplimes.com/recipe/lentil…), our Chickpea & Eggplant Fatteh (https://www.pickuplimes.com/r…), and Lebanese Tabbouleh (https://www.pickuplimes.com/r…).

Asami - March 20, 2024, 1:55 a.m.

This looks delicious. What is the sauce that the potato is pictured being dipped in?

PUL small logo PUL Team - March 20, 2024, 6:45 a.m.

Hey Asami, we just combined some tahini and lemon juice in a bowl to make a very simple dip! 😊
