I've heard of 'tofish' before but never tried it and, with all the extras combined in the bun, this recipe reminded me a lot of a wholesome vegan version of McDonald's fish sandwich. 😁

This burger was SO delicious. I'm not a huge tofu fan but this just changed my world. I didn't have chickpea flour as I couldn't find in the local supermarket but I subbed it for almond flour and seemed to work fine. I also had Spinach instead of lettuce. 👌🏽

sadly my local grocery store did not have chickpea flour. I substituted wheat flour and I don't think it was a very good substitute. mixed with the water the gluten made it pretty gelatinous, so coating the tofu was a process lol. I think it also slowed the cooking.
