Misaki - Feb. 14, 2025, 10:53 a.m.

Came out cute for valentines! 😘 I made these with my husband. Need to make sure the filling is not too much per pie. Mine rose really tall and the filling spilled all over. Haha but it was fun! 🀩 Thank you PUL πŸ’•

So you have a recipe for cheery pie ?
I can’t get this in India

Hey Amitabh, we don't have a cherry pie recipe although we'll note down the idea! In the meantime, perhaps you can substitute cherry pie filling with other fruit preserves, jam, or fresh fruit cooked down with a bit of sugar and cornstarch. Let us know if you experiment with anything 🫢✨

I can't get pre-made cherry pie filling in Germany (at least not that I know of...) - could I use cherries from a jar instead? Or (chia)jam? Thanks in advance πŸ€—

Hi there, Maria! Maybe you can find "Kirsch-Grütze", which should be very similar to our cherry pie filling. Otherwise, yes cherries from a jar could work - just drain them first. If they're unsweetened, you might want to mix them with a little sugar or maple syrup. Chia jam could work too, though it'll be softer and less tart than traditional pie filling. 😊

Oh good Idea, thank you! Thanks for knowing the German market better than me 🀭
