I am still a newbie in the kitchen but pul makes me want to cook even more! This recipe was so easy and delicious, I used the vegan Parmesan also by pul. It's the perfect amount for two people or if I want to have leftovers. My mom who isn't vegan also loved this recipe. Granted I didn't have miso paste but I had a miso ramen pack so I used that instead. Paired it with a side of lettuce mix and vegan chicken for protein very full and satisfied! (:

Great fast recipe which doesn't require chopping onion and garlic. Ideal when time is an issue. I started by frying some mushrooms, followed the recipe and towards the end finally grated a courgette to get some veggies. The sauce tastes so cheesy in the pan but as often seems to happen with me it lost some of it's cheesiness when it was plated. Any idea why this happens? Next time I'll pop any leftover vegan parmesan on the table. We also didn't have any basil so we used parsley. All in all another 5* from me.

Recipe was tasty but as soon as I started cooking the miso in butter, a very pungent smell emanated from the pan (and now the smell is in my whole apartment). Not sure why that is. Maybe I'll make it again excluding the miso or mixing it with water and adding it at the end!

Hey HQ I suspect the pungent smell could be due to the miso paste reacting to the heat. Miso can become quite aromatic when cooked, especially at high temperatures. Dropping the heat of the pan before adding it could help, or indeed, your idea to mix it with water and add it towards the end of cooking is a good one, as it should help reduce the intensity of the smell while still imparting flavour to the dish.

So quick and simple, yet completely delicious! A real favourite. So easy to add frozen peas or broccoli in with the pasta, towards the end of cooking, for tasty addition. (FYI, the nutritional yeast and parm seem to be in the wrong ‘make’ section though, under black pepper rather than next ‘slide’).

Super easy and delicious! FYI, when you adjust the amount of servings it doesn't automatically adjust the amount of pasta water needed. So when i made it for one person it still said 1 cup which would be too much of course, so watch out for that 😊
