My husband and I love making this simple dish on a week night. Tastes fantastic. We sometimes add soy sauce to make it have a different flavour, just to have another simple variation of this dish.
It's definitely a more subtle flavor, but I feel like that's expected from butter noodles and I still really enjoyed it. Like other people said, it makes a nice base for any changes you might want to make too

Just what I needed. Fresh, light and generous portion. I used tahini instead of butter and splash of soy sauce 😋
This was yummy and light meal. My daughter enjoyed it quite a bit. I added a little miso paste for a little more subtle flavor a d my husband added chili crisps. A very versatile meal! Great before and after additions.

Nice base recipe you could play with. I added some chili oil and a tiny bit of soy sauce. Next time I'll likely add tofu or something to add extra protein and maybe some other veggies like diakon, pepper, etc.

It is a huge and delicious meal. It is the perfect one to add more greens to your diet. I never try cabbage like this and it was delicious.
I used rice noodles, but they all stuck together when I set them aside. Any suggestions for next time?

A great take on buttered noodles! Loved all the veg that went into it. Found 2 servings fit for 3, likely due to the cabbage adding more volume and the noodle rec of 7oz when 4 or 5oz likely would have been good. We topped it with some okonomi sauce to give it some more pizazz!

I make cabbage for myself quite a bit I never considered adding noodles (I ❤️noodles) I took a liberty and added white wine for flavor and with the butter it makes a bit of a sauce. This will be my new cabbage go to. 😊❤️❤️
Just made this and loved how simple, quick and yet tasty it is, also as leftovers on the next day!
The only issue we had is that our cabbage must've been way bigger than the one that is supposed to be used in this recipe. We aimed for 4 servings and ended up with about 7-8. At first it tasted a little bland because the measurements for spices and butter didn't work anymore. Once we added more of everything it was delicious!
So I wonder if it might be an option for you guys to add the approximate weight of something like cabbage or even onions instead of just saying 1 head or small/medium etc? I think that would be really helpful 🤗
Subed noodles for edamame and spirulina noodles, and it was divine!! So simple but had lots of flavor.

Delicious and easy. Would be even faster using a bag of coleslaw mix instead of cutting up the cabbage and carrots.
I really liked this recipe. I was unsure if the flavour was going to be bland or not but it was really yummy! Not bland at all. Simple, delicious and easy. I will definitely make this again, and you could easily add more veggies. With all PUL recipes I substitute the vegetables oil for olive oil just to be a bit healthier and it works every time
