Kofta is a versatile meatball dish enjoyed across many cultures, each adding its unique twist. This particular kofta draws inspiration from both Indian cuisine and Turkish Shish kofta. It features a blend of ground meat and spices shaped into cylinders and grilled on skewers. We love serving this kofta with a refreshing mango salsa, a cool yogurt mint sauce, and warm flatbread.

Used quorn mince. Didn’t hold together so fried it up. Tastes quite nice all layered together but would avoid quorn in future.

I loved this recipe! The amount of flavours is incredible. I used frozen Quorn mince and it worked well. The texture is not as solid so you need to be careful when frying.

Loved this recipe! We did use store bought kofta (redefined lamb kofta) but it paired so well with this recipe. The mango was such a perfect combo 😍

Okay, maybe an unpopular opinion but just thought I'd share it just in case -- I actually don't find the dishes that look like meat replicas appetizing. I've been a vegetarian my whole life, and more recently became vegan. So my mouth doesn't water when I see these, instead I feel pretty averse to it 😅

Hey Preethi, thanks for sharing your perspective! We totally get that not everyone finds meat replicas appealing, especially if you’ve been vegetarian or vegan for a long time. These dishes can be a nice transition for those who are new to plant-based eating or for those who want to make meals for their non-vegan friends/family. Our goal is to offer a variety of recipes to suit different tastes and preferences, but we really appreciate hearing your thoughts. Don’t worry, we’ll be posting plenty of non-meat-inspired dishes too! Thanks for being part of the community! 😊
