Very easy to make. I was afraid I would make a mess in flipping it over but it went smoothly :-)
Usually I follow your recipe to the letter the first time around but I felt adventurous and added some pieces of sundried tomatoes, that worked really well and was a delicious finishing touch.

Ooo love this idea, Jonathan! So glad it was enjoyed ๐Ÿค—

zainab kharbush - March 11, 2025, 5:36 p.m.

Amazing recipe!

Charlotte - Feb. 22, 2025, 11:57 p.m.

I had high expectations for this recipe because of all the excellent reviews and it didn't disappoint in the slightest! I used homemade GF pizza dough and it worked perfectly! It was such a delicious and relatively easy meal and I paired it with caponata (and ketchup!). Already can't wait to make again soon!!

Oh this is so exciting to hear, Charlotte! Thanks a bunch for sharing your experience with the recipe ๐Ÿ’›

Tastes good but the bottom burns easily, hard to flip

Julia - Nov. 18, 2024, 12:39 p.m.

Tried it for the first time today and I love it โค๏ธ!
Has someone tried freezing it? I was thinking about using it as a homemade stable and having one piece or two occasionally as I would with frozen pizza ecc.

PUL small logo PUL Team - Nov. 18, 2024, 2:40 p.m.

Hey Julia! So glad you enjoyed the recipe ๐Ÿ™Œ We haven't tried freezing it because tofu can hold on to ice crystals with its porous structure, so it might become soggy when it thaws. If you test it out, we'd love to hear how it goes!

Julia - Nov. 19, 2024, 9:25 a.m.

Thank you very much! Sounds reasonable ๐Ÿค”, I haven't thought of that.
I'll keep you updated when I try the recipe again!

Yummy recipe and very filling!

Alexis Bushnell - Sept. 26, 2024, 8:05 p.m.

This was super delicious and so easy! Will absolutely be making it again.

Martina - Sept. 23, 2024, 12:29 p.m.

Hey PUL Team! :) One question about this recipe: if I were to make it with store-bought dough, which type would you recommend? Puff pastry dough? Thank you:)

PUL small logo PUL Team - Sept. 23, 2024, 10 p.m.

Hey Martina, puff pastry dough could work for a flakier texture, but if you're looking for something closer to the original, we'd recommend pizza or pie dough. We hope you love the tofu-stuffed pie if you're able to give it a try ๐Ÿซถ

Roberta Celebrano - Sept. 1, 2024, 5:23 a.m.

So, so, SO good! Love that's it all made from scratch but didn't take too long to make given the minimal chopping required! Comforting and satisfying flavors.

PUL small logo PUL Team - Sept. 2, 2024, 3:31 a.m.

So happy to hear, Roberta, thanks for the glowing review! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Steve Elliott - Aug. 26, 2024, 10:04 p.m.

Delicious. I paired it with your Batata Harra. Spectacular meal.

Connor - July 1, 2024, 12:53 a.m.

Is there an alternative to the pesto that can be used?

PUL small logo PUL Team - July 1, 2024, 5:12 p.m.

Hey Connor! We haven't tried but some ideas that could be fun to twist up the recipe include a sun-dried tomato sauce, roasted red pepper spread, hummus, or cashew cream. Let us know if you experiment with anything :)

clara - May 31, 2024, 2:56 p.m.

this was incredible!!!! i loved it so much and so did everyone else ๐Ÿ˜‹
my girlfriendโ€™s roommate offered to pay me to do it again next week ๐Ÿ˜‚

Miya Hara - May 30, 2024, 5:45 p.m.

I love this recipe; it was easy to make and tasted great! I also chose store bought dough for convenience and despite that I had no complaints.๐Ÿ˜‰
Though nothing needs to be changed, I will try to use different spices, pesto, etc, next time.
The possibilities are endless and I am really looking forward to adding this recipe into my rotation.๐Ÿงก

PUL small logo PUL Team - May 30, 2024, 10:49 p.m.

Yay love all of these ideas, Miya! So happy to hear, and enjoy your cooking adventures ๐Ÿค—

Margarita Kuzina - May 27, 2024, 9:34 p.m.

It worked great! I was a bit skeptical about it not sticking and cooking, but it was excellent ๐Ÿ‘Œ
I also premade dough and filling and just combined it before dinner. Will definitely try it with other fillings!

PUL small logo PUL Team - May 28, 2024, 9:53 p.m.

Yay! So happy to hear the recipe was enjoyed, Margarita ๐Ÿ˜Š

Divya - May 23, 2024, 9:46 a.m.

Very keen to try this. Do you think this can be cooked in the oven too ?

PUL small logo PUL Team - May 23, 2024, 9:58 p.m.

Hey Divya, we haven't tried, but imagine you can cook this in the oven. Perhaps you could bake it at about 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) for about 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden and the filling is heated through. Enjoy! ๐Ÿค—

Catherine R. Dion - May 21, 2024, 8:24 p.m.

I used a pre-made dough because I didn't have much time... But this recipe is now one of my favorite! I will be making this again for sure!! Delicious!

PUL small logo PUL Team - May 23, 2024, 3:09 a.m.

Yayy we're smiling from ear to er reading this, Catherine, thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚
