Raw Brussels sprouts make a refreshing, light salad base. The key to eating raw sprouts is shaving them into thin ribbons. This delicious salad has a coleslaw-like crunch, tangy dressing, sweet fruity additions, and toasted toppings. Thanks to the sturdy texture of Brussels sprouts, this salad can be prepared in advance and easily enjoyed the next day.

What a nice light seasonal salad. While the dressing was on the light side, I found that the richness grew with each bite I had. I used my Cuisinart to slice the brussel sprouts and apple thinly, so this salad came together quickly!

So happy to hear you enjoyed the Brussels sprouts salad, Linda! What a quick twist too 🫶

Nice salad, but there was definitely not enough dressing. Maybe I needed to cook onions on a lower heat because most of the liquid evaporated too quickly or the amounts in the recipe are not quite right.

Glad you enjoyed the salad, Ieva! For a more generous dressing, you could increase the liquid ingredients in the recipe or indeed cook the onions on a lower heat to preserve the moisture 😊

Loved it so much! Just not sure how you got that amount of liquide for the sauce as in the picture, I had to add twice the amount of olive oil, vinegar, syrup and miso. One of my fav salad xx

Hey Monika, the pan and jar are rather small, so perhaps it looks like more than it actually is in the photos, but you made the right call by adding more of each ingredient. As long as you're enjoying the taste, that's what matters!
