Can you try this with vegan cream instead? I really am not a fan of coconut.
PUL Team - March 16, 2025, 5:19 p.m.
Hey Jacqui, for sure! You can swap the coconut milk for a vegan cream like oat or cashew for a rich, creamy texture. Unsweetened varieties work best to keep the smoothie bowl's flavours balanced. Let us know how it turns out if you give it a try π

Had it with your 'healthiest Granola ever' as a topping, as well as shredded coconut and some hemp seeds. Loved it!

Such a delicious and healthy way to start my day π I love that you canβt really taste the beet but itβs still offering itβs vibrant color to make it a pleasure for the eye as well as the stomach.

How do you cook the beets?
PUL Team - Dec. 1, 2023, 1:25 a.m.
Hey Katrina, thanks for the question! You can use pre-cooked beets or alternative peel uncooked beet, cut it into chunks, and steam for about 20 - 30 minutes until tender. If you don't have a steamer, simply cook it in boiling water. You can tell the beet is cooked when you can easily pierce it with a fork. Let it cool, then it's ready to use in the smoothie bowl - enjoy! π€

Thank You! π€

A creamy but not too thick smoothie that has a good balance between sweet and sour flavours, owing to the number of fruits and berries. I used frozen blackcurrants instead of blueberries the first time, and it worked (same beautiful colour). I look forward to trying with blueberries. This smoothie fits really well with a granola containing chocolate, such as PUL Banana bread granola (loved itπ)

Creamy and just the right amount of sweetness.
Best way to use up gifted beets!
