Epic 👌

I enjoyed the texture of this patty, but I thought the flavor lacked a bit. Easy enough to edit next time. I found the patty a little thick though. Does the team have recommendations on how we can work with the dough to shape a little flatter. I think I might have enjoyed the flavors more if thinner. Will certainly make this again.

Hey Sauce, thanks for sharing your experience with the chick'n burgers. For thinner patties, you can knead the seitan for less time. The gluten should be less elastic and able to relax more. Pulling the seitan and holding it might also encourage the seitan to relax. Hope that helps 🤗

10/10 Delicious!

The best experience I’ve had working with wheat gluten. I couldn’t find cornflakes funny enough so I used Panko breadcrumbs and after 35 minutes in my oven, I use high broil for 2 to 3 minutes to roast the top of the patties.
Overall, it’s tasty! The combination of a coleslaw, the lettuce and the protein patty is has a southern touch. Making the chicken seasoning ahead of time helped. The pickle juice complements everything, without that this recipe would be lacking, so good on adding the pickle juice to the dipping process. This was filling. One burger and I’m done. I want another, but I know I can’t handle it.
Thank you for posting this. I’m so happy to have tried it. Now, if I want a chicken like patty, I can just come to this recipe. 🥰

We have now had it for two days, we thought it missed some flavour, but some hot sauce and everything is good!
Great idea for extra protein with the beans ☺️

omg, I would've never thought that a burger could have 37g of protein, and so many food groups! Excited to try this one 😊
