Such a nice spread on a piece of bread for a savory breakfast lover like me! Didn't have any mint on hand but I used basil and it tasted so nice anyway!

Jasmin - June 29, 2024, 11:15 a.m.

Ok

Elyse - Jan. 16, 2024, 6:40 a.m.

Just made this (in Jan) and it felt like a burst of spring in the middle of winter! So refreshing, creamy, and delicious. I added some pink peppercorns since I had it on hand and it worked nicely. I paired it as an appetizer to the Green Pea Soup:)

Woohoo! We're so happy that Green Pea, Edamame & Mint Dip was enjoyed, Elyse 🤩

Sanne - Oct. 17, 2023, 9:44 p.m.

I made this before using all the exact ingredients. It was really good and hard to believe it's so healthy !! I don't have mint on hand at this moment, but I do have cilantro. Can I use fresh cilantro instead of mint ?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Oct. 18, 2023, 1:51 a.m.

Hi there, Sanne, cilantro will bring a slightly different flavour to the dip, but it should still be delicious. Let us know if experiment with it 🤗

Anna - June 25, 2023, 8:36 p.m.

I made this last minute for a gathering with friends. They were licking the bowl so I’ll definitely be making this recipe again!

Magda - April 24, 2023, 2:18 p.m.

I really love this🤌🏻🤌🏻 and i’m gonna make it again !!! I just put a little too much lemon juice 😅

Melissa - March 30, 2023, 12:57 a.m.

Hi Sadia! You are really talented with your recipes and I made this today and love it. I had to make adjustments because of what I had on hand but everything was delish. Thank you for sharing your passion with all! 😁

PUL small logo PUL Team - March 30, 2023, 4:59 a.m.

Awe, Melissa, you're much too kind! Thank you 😃

Jennifer - March 17, 2023, 10:27 p.m.

Looks so good! Sadia, what would you recommend substituting the tahini for? My daughter has a sesame allergy, so we avoid tahini. She’s also allergic to nuts, peanuts, and eggs, sooo…I’d love to hear your ideas!

PUL small logo PUL Team - March 18, 2023, 6:14 p.m.

Hey Jennifer, we haven't tested it out but perhaps sunflower seed butter could work! Just be sure to give the dip a taste and adjust the spices or salt if needed. We hope you enjoy it 🙂

Hanna - Nov. 4, 2022, 8:38 a.m.

Jassimar kaur - Nov. 9, 2021, 6:54 p.m.

can i freeze the hummus as it's only me who will be eating ?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Nov. 10, 2021, 1:56 a.m.

Hi Jassimar! We haven't tested it out, although it appears other edamame-based dips freeze well. We'd recommend freezing single-serving portions in an airtight container for up to four months and thawing the smaller portions in the fridge when ready to enjoy. The texture may change a bit, but giving it a good stir should do the trick. Do let us know how it goes if you're able to give it a try 😊

Jonna - Jan. 23, 2022, 5:43 p.m.

I've just defrosted some that I froze and it tastes perfectly fine.

PUL small logo PUL Team - Jan. 23, 2022, 8:01 p.m.

So lovely to hear! Thanks for confirming, Jonna 😊

Taiwanese Papaya - Aug. 20, 2021, 6:20 a.m.

Such a great recipe! So easy to make! Really helped me eat a lot more yummy proteins.

Michelle - July 29, 2021, 3:54 p.m.

This is such a wonderful recipe! It tastes amazing on toast with some garnishes and it's a fun change from the usual hummus that I probably make a bit too often ;) Thank you guys!!

Darshana - July 23, 2021, 3:07 p.m.

I substituted frozen spinach for peas (as I ran out), and it was still absolutely delicious and creamy! Great on toast topped with chilli flakes/dukkah for lunch. Thanks for the great flavour combo 😊

PUL small logo PUL Team - July 25, 2021, 8:17 p.m.

Love the sub, Darshana! So glad you enjoyed the dip 😃

Victoria - July 8, 2021, 9:48 p.m.

This was okay. I loved the idea of using edamame and peas, but I think I was expecting a different flavor profile.

Kerryn - June 12, 2021, 9:09 a.m.

I just made a batch for my dinner guests tonight and forgot the garlic! It still tastes sensational. I also had to substitute fresh lemon verbena leaves for lemon juice. Still tastes amazing. Thank you for this recipe and the opportunity to make better food for myself, family and friends, and to impress them all too!!

PUL small logo PUL Team - June 13, 2021, 12:30 a.m.

We're so grateful the dip was enjoyed during your special evening! Thank you for the review and support, Kerryn 😃

Cris S - June 5, 2021, 5:43 p.m.

This was delicious! I loved it, especially in the suggested combination with sprouts and radishes! 😁

PUL small logo PUL Team - June 6, 2021, 12:05 a.m.

So incredible to hear, Cris, thank you! 🥰

Louise Magnusson 🇸🇪 - April 19, 2021, 2:10 p.m.

A lovely variation on the original hummus recipe!! I love peas, and they pair so well with the mint leaves. I tried this hummus as a condiment for a cooked meal instead of the regular carbohydrate choices (like potatoes), which was a success. I prepared 11 servings, which were sufficient for lunch during four days. Amazing! However, I have to be careful with the water; I think that the hummus will be less liquid using half the amount of water. I guess peas contain more water (also from the cooking process) than chickpeas

PUL small logo PUL Team - April 20, 2021, 4:59 a.m.

We're so glad you enjoyed the dip, Louise! We do find peas a bit more watery than chickpeas as well 🙂
