What a delicious mix of strong flavours! The sauce is divine and pairs well with the tofu and bell peppers. I cooked the tofu in the airfryer - perfectly crispy and had to stop myself from eating it before adding to the rest of the dish!

Wow! This dish is awesome! And so easy to make! I Double the amount of lemon zest because I like it more lemony and it comes out perfect. For other readers that loved this recipe I’d suggest to try the Sweet and Sour Tofu, they’ll love it too!

Just WOW. Really good
I made 2 packages of tofu and about 1.5 made it to the meal. One set of tofu I made in the air fryer and the other in my cast iron pan. The texture on the air fryer tofu was better and the cast iron tofu fell apart, but the cast iron pan tofu had a slightly better taste. Overall the flavors were delicious. I added some spinach and mushrooms to the dish and used some veggie broth for the rice. I would make it again. Will update on what my partner thought since he doesn't love lemony dinner things lol. Kiddos liked it. I am going to try to make it with less spice next time so that they can enjoy it.

This was a nice change from a typical soy sauce/ hoisin type stir fry, very fresh- tasting and not at all salty! My lemons were large and rendered a lot of zest and juice but even still it was not too tart. Will make again!

The only thing a bit tricky here in Germany, is to find firm tofu. Normal tofu also works.

Really good & simple dish! I love that it didn’t require going out to buy a ton of ingredients and is a quick meal I can make with staples I already have. Only thing is that I wish I really pressed the tofu to make it have more crunch
I’ve been feeling under the weather for a while and this was just what I needed. Lots of vitamin C and the spice from the sriracha was liberating for the sinuses ;) as an added bonus it’s easy to put together. Thank you so much!
So delicious!!! I made with puff tofu (deep fried I think) from the Asian market, and the chewy texture with the sauce was amazing.
Really tasty! I added broccoli because my Nourish day needed it 🥰 and it was great. I think orange chicken is generally more common on Chinese-American menus, so might try subbing orange juice and zest next time!

This was really tasty 😋 however I'd suggest that zesting and juicing the lemon and chopping the tofu should be included in the list of things to prep in step one of the make along mode as I found it very frantic trying to do everything in the order suggested!

Just made this recipe, really flavourful, lovely glossy sauce without any artificial flavourings you would get from a takeaway. Really fresh with a sweet spicy kick. Will definitely make it again.
This recipe is so simple and easy, but absolutely delicious. Made this for dinner with my celiac, vegetarian friend and was a hit.
Question: can one use amino acids instead of soy sauce AND nutritional yeast instead of corn starch? Dankjewel for all you do.
Absolutely loved it! I reduced the amount of Sriracha, and next time, I would use a bit less lemon (we had an ecological from Sicily, could be that it was more intense than regular ones). For me, it was still fine as I love lemony things, but for my bf, it was too sour even though he usually likes intense flavors. But will definitely repeat it as it's a burst of (lemony) flavors and easy to cook :)
Sesame oil is in the directions but it is not listed as an ingredient.

It’s good, but a bit too intense and monotone at the same time somehow. It would be really nice as one dish among many. But it’s a bit much on its own. I doubled the recipe and used a lime, so perhaps that’s why! (Added mushrooms, bok choy, and spinach, for some extra veggies).
So good, loved the lemon in this!

Easy to pull together on a weeknight! Fast and easy! I subbed frozen California blend veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, zucchini) for the peppers which I didn't have on hand, and it is still delicious. Highly recommend!

Absolutely LOVED this recipe. Can’t stop thinking about it since I made it on Monday, so much so I am making it for a family dinner on Sunday. I personally don’t like bell peppers, so I subbed in veg from the fridge; shredded brussel sprouts, a leek and savoy cabbage and it was delicious. I think it would work well with most veggies depending on your preference as the sauce is the star of the show. Absolutely delicious!
I really love it. My partner says this is great for our lunch meal prep. However, I might add less sriracha than recommended. 🔥

Such a great alternative to the orange tofu recipe. I'll have to make it again with less sriracha because our toddler found it too spicy but I think it's also the brand we are currently using. Another 5* recipe!

We loved it? Even my pickiest eater said I could make this again. In fact they have said that about every recipe I've made and posted a comment about. I made the recipe as is and it served 5 of us just fine with about side dish to go with it.
I really like it! I made double the amount but only used half the lemons. It took me around 40 min. Super tasty, will definitely make it again❤️
