I decided to use two fresh chili peppers instead of the five dried ones and the dish wasn't hot enough for my taste. I'll definitely make it again and I'll add more heat. The sauce is divine!

It's satisfying and so filling. I used soy chunks and used half the sauce to rehydrate them on the stove with extra water, then added the oil, let them brown, and then added everything else as per the recipe, fantastic!

The sauce firms up fast, and is savory. Next time we will make more and probably add more sechuan peppercorns and red or white onions. Overall, a solid recipe. Even non-vegan hubby approves!

Substituted the dried chilli’s with 2 crushed fresh Thai chilli’s and added about double the shisuan pepper corns. It was glorious.

Very tasty and not difficult to make! The combination with the peanuts is delicious. Would make a larger serving next time, for four persons is not enough for us to last for two dinners (perhaps because it’s so tasty and you don’t want to stop eating).
This dish was so flavourful and delicious. I made it for my family and everyone loved it!! A great dish to make to impress some guests. The only thing I’ll have to remember is to make more rice than the recipe says since 240g for 5 people was slightly not enough

It was so tasty! I just added more water as the Sauce thickened too fast, also I think I used really big bell peppers so the sauce and the rice were a little too little.
