a staple in our home !!
SO good!!
I make this ALL the time as a light breakfast. I love it so much I have the recipe memorized! Absolute fave! Thank you! :)
Excellent et original
Wow. Super good. It satisfied my sweet yet not fruity breakfast craving this morning.
Love this so much, very addictive!!
Enjoying this with some weetabix cereal. Love the tahini in a smoothie. Gamechanger.
Not bad, not my fav of the pick up limes smoothies
Addictive!!
Super good!
Tastes like ice cream!
A staple in our home for years now! Can really recommend!
This was insane! I’ve made smoothie bowls thousands of times but this is top notch! My kids will think it’s store bought ice cream. I loved the toasted coconut and almond granola with it.
I can't believe how beautiful this app is!! I quickly found an easy recipe to try, and this smoothie was phenomenal!
Delicious! Yet it is very very sweet and thick adding three medjool dates.
DELISH & NUTRISH!
Such as scrumptious and satisfying smoothie. I made the “1 serving” version and found it to be too little of a serving for a smoothie/meal for me. But I also love a hearty smoothie and serving, personally. I used almond butter instead of tahini & it was oh so yummy. Thank you for sharing all these incredible recipes with us!
Heavenly
Has me fooled! What an excellent take on a cleaner salted caramel. I’ve learned this week I need to keep frozen bananas on deck 😅
First recipe I ‘ve tried and loved it!
Love this salty caramel flavor! Ok
Soooo good. My dates were quite large so I used a few less and it was magnificent. Will be making this regularly!
Love this smoothie!!! I've been making it for a few years now and it's always a delightful and filling smoothie.
HI, Sadia ! I just made it, cause wanted to use my blender 2nd time after making your double chocolate granola (3rd time!) and it is delicious.
I of course didnt add any cinnamon, because it's disgusting, added kardamon instead !
And also i find it a bit too thick - so i'd recommend adding extra half glass water. Also i think 3 dates adn 3 tbsp tahini is too much so i added 2 each ;) - and it was v e r y sweet and tahini very pronounced
Thanks for the recipe !
Just made this this morning - I didn't have any dates since I'm not usually a fan of them so I just made them without and I found it to be sweet enough even so, especially with the toppings (I added stewed strawberries, banana coins, a banana bread flavored cashew butter, some chopped dark Fleur de sel chocolate and some chopped roasted almonds). Do the dates add more of the caramel-like flavor? Either way, I loved this - it was my first smoothie bowl but I'm sure it won't be my last, though it'll be hard to tear myself away from this recipe to try other ones! I loved the nuttiness the tahini added, what a great idea to use that in this - it's one of my favorite ingredients but I haven't often used it in sweet recipes. This recipe was also visually beautiful in the bowl. Big fan!
What an explosion of taste in the mouth! Very very good!
It's very yummy and I'm surprised because I thought it wouldn't taste like caramel but it did. I can say that's a good smoothie bowl!
So yummy! Decadent!
I love ALL your recipes (your vegan butter "chicken" turned my meat-craving husband into a tofu-lover!), but this one is ABSO-FREAKIN'-LUTELY amazing! Such an explosion of taste that we've been eating it almost every day for the past few weeks. Thank you for making my life better and all the best on your newlyweds' journey.
I love this recipe and made it several times for me and family members. I don't add vanilla but still I find it tastes so delicious. I liked it so much that I came up with an idea to turn this recipe into an overnight oats recipe that I call 'salted caramel overnight oats':
Please check this link if you have time. I have hash tagged you and mentioned your link as source of the inspiration for this overnight oats recipe. Thank you so much for the wonderful recipe and inspiring me always!
This has such a unique and lovely taste!! I love it paired with your healthy granola
Made this recipe this morning and it was really good! Not normally a big fan of bananas, but for me this was a hit. I know the recipe states that this is best enjoyed immediately, but I was wondering the feasibility of prepping this in mason jars for the week - how long would this last, if at all? (Assuming the fresh fruit / granola / garnish etc. would be added when I plan to eat it)
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe: I’ll definitely be doing it again but perhaps with just half a date. The tahini I was using isn’t as bitter as some I have used in the past, so that might have been a factor in how sweet it tasted.
Super duper delicious!! I made it with deglet noor dates and soaked them in hot water first, a cheaper alternative. Also, with homemade cashew milk. Great recipe! Thank you.
Very delicious! Like sesame halva in a smoothie version. My new favorite!
Thank you!
Wow! I was very hesitant about adding tahini at first, but omg it makes all the difference! Thank you Sadia, for the amazing recipe!
The flavors are awesome! Made it with granola and banana on top. Chef’s kiss!
Such a delicious smoothie! We ran out of tahini so I substituted it for peanut butter which was super yummy as well. Unfortunately, the PB flavor was quite strong which meant that in the end, the smoothie tasted more like peanut butter than salted caramel. I will definetely give this recipe another try with tahini!
I made this smoothie where I was unmotivated to start my day but instead eating this made my day. Even my parents loved it, I look forward to making more yummy sweet and healthy smoothies. Thank you so much for this recipe. 💗
I completely lost my love for smoothies over the last months because I was just trying to make them more and more healthy and sacrificed the flavor for that. Your videos, especially this smoothie, made me fall in love again. Thank you so much ♡
I feel like Alice descovering wonders on your YouTube channel and your site. It's unbelievable.
Yesterday morning I made this recipe. It's mind-blowing - delicious and nourishing. I've never considered smoothies as a breakfast dish but they are so gooood. It became a habit making one for several times, then step to another. I couldn't say I've got a favourite one. I've discovered the joy to play mixing ingredients, combining new flavors or reconsidering old ones (like mangoes, tahini, dates).
I'm so glad I discovered (met) you, lovely people! 🤗
OMG, what an amazing idea! I’m so surprised about the buttery caramel flavour that you’ve achieved. I guess it’s a combination of the “burnt”/bitter tahini, cinnamon, and banana. So creamy and not too sweet at all: not being sparse with the sea salt is the key👌🏻
I really recommend to try this smoothie with PUL chocolate, fig & hazelnut granola. It’s such an amazing match, especially if dark (70 % minimum) chocolate chips are used🤤
To tell you the truth, I made the granola in advance just so I could try the smoothie😅
I made this today for a dessert smoothie. It was amazing!!! A bit too sweet for my liking, but my husband enjoyed it! I also added some plain protein powder too. Thanks for this amazing recipe
This has become my go-to smoothie when I've had a really bad or hard day! It always brightens my mood and makes me feel like I'm pampering myself a little. If my bananas are super ripe, I only need to use one date. Thank you for creating an only natural sugar but decadent treat!
I am pregnant with about 3 weeks to go and I was reading about the benefits of dates and turned to this smoothie to quickly get my daily dates portion and it’s amazing 🤤 ..to mention I am not such a fan of dates, so I always want to cover their taste :)) You are my go to for cooking 😊 I am planning to prep some of your delicious healthy desserts to grab from the freezer for the hospital!
Happiness in a bowl! It tastes amazing and I’ve done it multiple times and still makes me smile every single time!
Amazing
My husband and I really liked this recipe. Because now I am taking birth control pill, I left flaxseeds out. Yet, it was still so so good. Thank you, Sadia and all the members of PUL team. Sending gratification from Korea😊
Best smoothie bowl ever!!!! I am trying to learn to like bananas, and this definitely helps! This is basically my weekend go-to breakfast now, topped with almond butter, cacao nibs, sliced strawberries, and hemp hearts. Even our 3-year-old likes it!
One of my favorite of your smoothie recipes. My kids are always so happy to wake up to chocolate in their smoothie bowls. :)
This smoothie is amazing. So creamy, rich, and satisfying--almost like a milkshake. My mom and I have been making this every day ever since you first released the recipe. Thank you, PUL!
Another incredibly delicious recipe by PUL! I added the following toppings to my smoothie bowl: fresh blueberries, dried fruit & nut mix, cocoa nibs, & hemp hearts. Next time I'll add a little drizzled pb.. yummm. I've not once been disappointed by your recipes. And everything is so aesthetically pleasing and super easy to follow. Thank you so much!
made this for breakfast this morning and was hella impressed at the flavor. i chopped up some Hu Chocolate and did the toasted sesame seeds as well. this felt decadently sweet, even split between my partner and i - so next time, i think we'd be fine with two dates instead of the three. but regardless, thanks all ! i loved trying out the tahini as well, its not a normal go-to for me.
I just did it with almond butter instead of tahini and it's really good! Thank you :) !
This has now become our weekend breakfast! My husband, kids and I love it! They dont even know that they are getting balanced nutrition!!!
This is by far my favourite smoothie bowl recipe. I love anything that offers the salted caramel flavour. The fact that this is so easy to make, makes it even better! Thank you for the amazing recipe!!
What a great smoothie bowl, love the flavours and all the goodness . Thank you
What a great smoothie bowl, love the flavours and all the goodness . Thank you
One of the most delicious smoothie bowls ever, I tried two more and loved all 😍 Making them on repeat, also inspired me to create my own mango smoothie bowl!
Truly felt like having a decadent dessert! So, so good. I'm amazed!
This is my 2-year old's new favorite drink! I had to make two batches in a day! 😄 It's awesome how it tastes like caramel but with none of the sugar and the addition of cinnamon is fabulous! 😁
Hello, i would like to ask, how long can we keep the smoothie stored in the fridge? Making it in Vitamix i am using the 2 servings portions so that there is enough quantity to blend and i want to store the left one in the fridge.
Sadia...let me say at first I was really skeptical about the ingredient mix...but boy I was wrong...I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast and can't wait to try all the other recipes....Kudos to the team on the presentation as well of all meals shown
Awesome dessert smoothie, the salty caramel taste is great !
I decided to try this with regular bananas and a bit of ice since I didn't have frozen bananas. The consistency was that of a smoothie which was delicious 😊. But how can I get a thicker consistency?
Thank you!
I just did this and it's delicious! Had to change from tahini to almond butter but still tastes great, super wholesome! Thanks so much for sharing!
