Hello, imp question- can I use the leftovers after juicing carrots in my centrifugeuse( or mix of oil for them+ apples) instead of grated carrots ?
Grating them is so burdensome and juicing is practically the only way I eat apples and carrots. Esp that someone mentionnés below it was to gooey, I’m asking if o should change sth adding naturally less moisture version of carrots :)

PUL is my go-to app for baking especially. Almost all recipes are foolproof.
Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for this recipe. It turned out sooo gooey that I ended up baking the cake with a foil over for 45 minutes and still it wasn’t baked through.
It tasted really good except the uncooked bottom, I just don’t know where I went wrong with the recipe. Maybe the type of carrots make a difference (I used the usual ones from the German supermarket) because all measurements were followed and oven instructions were followed.
We made these using King Arthur gluten free flour. They turned out great. We will definitely make them again!

This is one of my favourite things to bake and my friends and family enjoy eating it - it’s a win-win! Since I consume less sugar, I skip the frosting entirely, still has great sweetness from the Dutch carrots. I serve it with vegan whipped cream for those who wish to eat it that way. I love the balance of spices and flavour in this recipe. Thank you Sadia and team!

I made these and took them to a potluck. They were all gone within 5 minutes. These are delicious. I would just like to have more spices (mostly cinnamon) in the cake and less sugar in the frosting.
I made this into a cake and it turned out perfectly. I cooked the whole recipe into one 8 inch round pan, and then topped it with a vanilla glaze and lemon zest.
These are amazing, so moist and fluffy!!
Really delicious! The spices were amazing and the cupcakes were very well received. I found the frosting to be way too sweet though, so I added more creme cheese and butter. Next time I will use less sugar.

Hi, these cupcakes are so good! I have a question about the frosting. It did not become smooth, even after about six minutes of mixing. It looked a bit like it curdled. It still tasted good and I used it, but do you have any idea what could be causing this? Temperature of the butter maybe? I used butter at room temperature.

Yum! These are easy and delicious. I’m glad they don’t use walnuts or raisins in the recipe. No doubt you can easily add if you wanted. I just don’t like crunchy things in my cupcakes.
I used only 2 cups of powdered sugar and it was perfect for us.
Any substitutes to vegetable oil in this recipe.
