We Like the pasta and sauce, I don’t think I cooked the chickpeas right but it was still tasty. Thanks for another awesome recipe

Leelo - March 24, 2025, 6:39 p.m.

Love it!

sifra - Feb. 20, 2025, 6:46 p.m.

This was really yummy, but for the amount of steps and dishes I thought the eventual flavor combination could be a bit more complex. I added mushrooms and a hint of miso to bring it all together!

Julia Swan - Feb. 6, 2025, 12:31 p.m.

Very delicious meal! The only step I skipped intentionally is using a blender to make a sauce, because I really like the texture to stay as is and just added orzo and nutritional yeast flakes into it without any blending. It turned out very well 😋

Hi, I would love PUL team that You could incorporate a note taking section in the main menu of the recipes for any thoughts or ideas than can come up when checking a Dish. In this cas, I liked the idea of using only the herb oil mix as a separate flavor for another recipe do I don't forget it.. Would love to have all in one place!

PUL small logo PUL Team - Jan. 6, 2025, 8:29 p.m.

Hey Sarah, thanks a bunch for sharing this! You can add private notes on the app under the "directions" tab of a recipe > and then pressing "adding personal note". Hope this helps for now 🫶✨

Sarah de Martinez - Jan. 18, 2025, 10:50 p.m.

Great, I will check it out. This recipe is awesome. Very pleased with this app. Always eager to know what's new. A marvelous way to get in love with veggies and fruits😍

Alex & Anastasia - Dec. 12, 2024, 10:35 p.m.

This was super delicious! Will definitely become one of our staple recipes for dinner

Ines - Dec. 12, 2024, 2:44 p.m.

Very delicious!

Marguerite De Valois - Dec. 9, 2024, 1:44 p.m.

Regina - Dec. 8, 2024, 8:46 p.m.

Many different components to keep an eye on, and the kitchen ended up in a complete mess, but it was delicious!! The orzo and cauliflower seemed like a strange thing put together, but it was lovely. Thank, PUL! 💛 Will make again on a rainy sunday 😉

Liam Hayden - Dec. 4, 2024, 2:01 p.m.

A true representation of how creativity and flavour can bring unfairly branded ‘plain foods’ such as cauliflower into masterpieces. This turned out even better than I expected. Thank you so much P.U.L team!

PUL small logo PUL Team - Dec. 4, 2024, 3:40 p.m.

Woohoo! Glad we can help change the narrative. Thank YOU, Liam ☺️

Amanda Zacarkim - Nov. 24, 2024, 8:50 p.m.

Very very surprised qt how well it all came together ❤️ Lovely recipe, all the flavors are on point.

Laurie Cameron - Sept. 22, 2024, 2:45 a.m.

I am entranced by this recipe, but I can not eat orzo due to a wheat allergy. Has anyone tried it with arborio rice? Or is there a better orzo substitute? Thanks!

PUL small logo PUL Team - Sept. 23, 2024, 9:08 p.m.

Hey Laurie! Arborio rice could work as a substitute, but it will have a creamier texture than orzo, the water should also be increased, as risotto rice absorbs more water. We suggest using 3¾ - 4 cups (900 - 960 mL) of water to 300 g of dry risotto rice. Let us know if you try it out! 😊

Anna Poltronieri - Aug. 24, 2024, 12:06 a.m.

A fantastic dish! The herb oil is so fresh and delicious, don't skip it!

Nikisha Budhai - Aug. 22, 2024, 2:45 a.m.

Such an ingenious way to incorporate more veggies into dishes. I mentioned it before, in one of your other recipes, my husband and I aren't of the plant based lifestyle but I found Ur app (and yt) a great way to stay on the vegetable train without having boring steamed veggies with protein. Also a great way to trick my husband into eating more veggies. I loved the butternut rissotto and tried that concept here instead of orzo I used rissotto and instead of blending the cauliflower I just mixed it through. It added more volume to the rissotto thereby allowing the rissotto to be a base for many other dishes through the week. I particularly enjoyed it on its own with the roasted Chickpeas and a lunch room meal (at work).
Another if moving parts on this one. But will definitely be made as an accompaniment to a bbq.

Love your creativity in adapting the recipe, Nikisha! It’s fantastic that you’re finding new ways to enjoy more plant-based goodness. Your twist with the risotto and cauliflower sounds delicious and we appreciate you sharing your experience with it 🤗✨

Norma Afif - June 20, 2024, 10:05 a.m.

I must say, I am a confident cook and always happy to try something new. However your recipes are so forgiving that often I have to improvise, but because you’ve put so much love, passion and thought into your recipes, it’s turned out spectacular!!

At such a young age I’m so impressed with what you’ve achieved here. God bless you and thank you for sharing your love of cooking with us 🧡

PUL small logo PUL Team - June 21, 2024, 1:05 a.m.

Gosh you're the sweetest, Norma - thank you 🥹 we're honoured to be welcomed into your kitchen and culinary adventures!

Nicole Mostofa - May 2, 2024, 11:22 p.m.

A lot of moving parts and I didn't feel like it all came together. The cauliflower sauce is a nice concept and I might try that again in the future. But I think I would have preferred the chickpeas added in the pasta and not roasted separately. I would even add in basil sauce all at once next time. 🧄🧅🙂 5/5 on presentation pictures!

PUL small logo PUL Team - May 3, 2024, 12:39 a.m.

Thanks for the honest feedback, Nicole! We totally get that the separate components might be a bit much. Mixing the chickpeas into the dish sounds like a great idea. Love that you're thinking of trying again with some tweaks! 😃

farrah - Feb. 17, 2024, 7:20 p.m.

Perfect! Hits all the right spots even for kids, make sure you do the herb oil!

Stacy Orr - Jan. 10, 2024, 3:23 p.m.

So happy to hear, Adel, thank you!

Erika T - Dec. 27, 2023, 10:44 p.m.

Ah this was just delicious, will definitely be making this one again, and I know guests will love it too! Enjoyed it with a little drizzle of smoky chilli oil too the second time, the creamy cauliflower orzo is such a good base for yummy toppings! 😋

PUL small logo PUL Team - Dec. 29, 2023, 7:45 a.m.

Oooh chili oil with it sounds delish! Thanks so much for sharing Erika :D

Miriam Kallenberg - Dec. 17, 2023, 12:17 p.m.

Love it! Made the chickpeas and the cauliflower Steaks in the Air Freyer. It was a huge hit for my 2year-old 😍

PUL small logo PUL Team - Dec. 18, 2023, 4:52 a.m.

Soo happy that the recipe was enjoyed even by your little one, Miriam! A lovely idea to use the air fryer too 🤗

Megan - Dec. 7, 2023, 1:45 a.m.

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I enjoyed this dish! The orzo didn't quite hold up in this dish for meal prep, but I'm going to try again with a different grain!

Dominika Kacprzak - Nov. 7, 2023, 8:03 p.m.

Very tasty recipe. Takes some time for the beginner but it is worth it :)

Emily Saunders - Nov. 1, 2023, 3:17 a.m.

This recipe is so delicious, creamy, flavourful and a perfect example of why I love this app! Normally this would be too much for my executive functioning, but doing one step at a time made it very achievable.

PUL small logo PUL Team - Nov. 1, 2023, 7:05 p.m.

I'm so glad the cook-along mode has been helpful, Emily - it's one of our favourite features! Thanks so much for taking the time to share 😄

Olga - Oct. 25, 2023, 3:03 p.m.

Love it! I have also tried it with rice, instead of orzo pasta, both are delicious:)

Katie - Aug. 29, 2023, 4:56 p.m.

Mine did not really turn out as creamy and it took a lot of time to make. Kitchen is a mess now haha. Also needed to add a lot more salt to get some flavor.

PUL small logo PUL Team - Aug. 31, 2023, 10:08 p.m.

We're sorry to hear about the texture and time issues you faced with the recipe, Katie! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. Achieving creaminess can sometimes depend on the blending method. If your immersion blender isn't very powerful, you can consider puréeing the mixture in a high-powered blender. As for the saltiness, our bouillon cube offered a very salty taste, but adding more salt is a lovely idea if you think it needs it 😊

Andreea - Aug. 1, 2023, 5:02 p.m.

Wow, wow, wow! This is soooo delicious!❤️❤️

Brittany - Aug. 1, 2023, 2:06 a.m.

Marianne - July 4, 2023, 8:12 p.m.

Delicious meal !

curry K - July 2, 2023, 3:59 a.m.

Yummy. My husband and I enjoyed this! I reduced the water to 1 1/2 c and made sure to salt through our cooking. The herb oil makes this dish, definitely don’t skip it!

Emily - July 1, 2023, 5:18 p.m.

Delicious dish! Also perfect for kids 👌🏻

Marie-France - March 11, 2023, 12:48 p.m.

I love it that when the timer is up, you can go back to that step. I made a side dish with rucola. That works very well.

Thank you, Marie-France 🙂
